• That's craaaaazy. Rhodesian ridgebacks were bred to help hunt lions from what I hear- but the ones ive met have been timid sweethearts, sort of like great danes. That poor dog. I hate awful, vicious pit bulls. And so many people hurt trying to make them stop!! It's insane. They're so dangerous. I hope they find and prosecute the owner for all the destruction and pain they caused. We really should be pew pewing these attacking fighting dogs on sight, for everyone's safety.

It's still one dog against four. Those aren't good odds.

The one I met was huge. I can't believe they took one down

I had a rhodie for years. She never barked, was super cuddly and super lazy. They’re such a laid back breed. Honestly mine was very not aggressive and while huge, she was a big baby.

I mean they shouldn't be a timid dog at all, you cant be timid and keep a lion and bay. But I agree, I would never allow a pit anywhere near mine.

Yes a common misunderstanding. The dogs would work together with the hunters in the village to "hunt" lions.

They would run around the lion in circles while dodging and harrassing the lion while the hunters would come with weapons and finish it.

This poor dog could have outrun these shit beasts no problem but i am going to guess he stayed and guarded his owner. Ridgebacks are very protective like that.

  • And politicians everywhere get their donatiins from Pitbull Lobbyists and turn blind eyes to all the deaths, maimings, maulings, and carnage.

This is a political problem as well as a lethal threat.

  • My boyfriend’s family keep Rhodesian Ridgebacks, they’re gentle giants, and such a lovely breed, this is awful. :((

  • My sister in law was one of the people bitten. She ended up going to the hospital for bites to her hand. The people fighting off the pitbulls, were asking if anyone had a pew pew to fight them off, but no one did. This isn't the first incident with those dogs.

  • What will it be this time, "they were triggered by the ridges?" I now 100% believe these monsters should be classified the same as lions, tigers etc... I'd take my chance with a lion over a shitbull. At least their eyes aren't demonic and beady!
