• Trash.

Oh, right, had to put my glasses on to see better.

  • It's trash and belongs in the bin

  • It's pretty obvious, isn't it? Did you see USSR anywhere other than Putin's own imagination?

Oh, yeah, but I also think I saw it as a Failed Ideological State.

Lotsa Western tankies on reddit see it different. Probably the joke belongs to one of them, cause they all feel nostalgic for things they dont even understand.

When I was at their age, ideology of anarchism was the one which "cool wannabe" alt-kids delved into. Now it's comunism "cause every will be equal and capitalism = bad". Except, they got it the otherway round. Comunism was never about eliminating poverty - they just eliminate the rich ones, so that everyone is poor (and equal). Well, except for party elite, and military elite, and...

Putin is not communist. But yeah. He believes that fall of USSR is a disaster

I think that whole CCCP nostalgia ended with the occupation of Crimea in 2014. Definitely with the invasion of Ukraine. You'd have to be a fucking moron to hold onto that imagery at this point. Sadly, there are a lot of progressives and social liberals that identify with Russia, thinking it is still the last bastion of socialism in the world against the evil corrupt capitalist states. Even Chomsky himself tried to defend Putin at one point. If that wasn't bad enough Noam was defending Epstein as well. It's unbelievable how Putin is able to appeal to both the extreme right and extreme left of politics. I guess it is like the Ouroboros, the conservative serpent head eating its own liberal tail.

it’s disappointing seeing leftists wrap around 360 degrees and start hating the US so much that they applaud Russia, gross

The funniest thing is that a lot of regressives, ultra far right idiots also identify with it, thinking that it's the last place to properly respect "christian values" and "christian family". Quite a few Europeans and Americans moved there after the war had started.

Wtf do u really think that Putin wants Soviet Union?

It’s pretty obvious isn’t it? Autocratic rule, nationalist socialist state, sports machine, and so on. He grew ip in the CCCP. This is the only thing he understands.

Wdym nationalist-socialist state? It's not like in 3rd reich

  • Its in the bin mate, done and dusted

  • It's the "dustbin of history".

During the revolution, Trotsky famously told off the Mesheviks walking out of a soviet congress in protest, saying, "Go where you belong from now on - in the dustbin of history!"

Stalin soon put Trotsky himself in the dustbin of history, and the USSR itself followed half a century later.

  • so, back in the day in soviet block, when someone would ask you “where is the soviet union” you would, instead of pointing to a map or specific place, point to your heart and say here. this was, while at the same time a “meme”, like it was a bit funny, but it was also showing your respect and love for the CCCP that it’s always in your heart. people back then really believed in the communist ideals and lived just so. now, after all the truth about what was going on is freely available, education is much better and all that veil of generational propoganda has been torn down, we now realise how awful the communism have been, how vile were the icons of the communist rule and how bad for the people the whole cccp experience was, we relegate the CCCP and all that it stood for to the trashbin - as it’s where it now belongs.

so the little child - a representation of soviet “pioneer youth”, instead of pointing at his heart, is now pointing at the trash binn

  • Saw a screenshot a while ago of a tankie c*nt complaining about Android having a bunch of same-sex couple emojis but not one of the USSR flag. He was promptly shut down with a comment that same-sex couples actually exist, unlike the USSR.

  • In mind of some russians...

    liberated Europe from Muslim Turks.

    That's bald statement.

Also it was a country of enormous resources with which it managed to always lag behind from the rest of the western world economically, culturally, legally and so on and so on. Ffs, they maintained basically slave based society till end of 19th century. If that is based, I really do not get the meaning of that word.

And then they decided go rusify millions of people. They didn't save anything, they just switched oneoppression with another

    Two shits, same toilet

USSR is just another name for Russian empire.

  • I understand why would one consider USSR as trash but why include Marx?

    Dude was a racist jackass

Yeah, he was and anti-semitic too but there are plenty of those around and we cannot focus only on his negative ideas. Che Guevara was also a homophobic and racist but later changed his act. People change.

    Che Guevara sucks as well

    No and neither does Marx.

Che Guevara is accused by critics of a range of crimes tied mainly to his role in the Cuban Revolution and its aftermath: as commander of La Cabaña prison in 1959, he oversaw revolutionary tribunals that led to the execution of dozens to hundreds of former Batista officials and perceived enemies, often after summary trials with limited due process; he openly endorsed and justified revolutionary violence, writing that executions were a necessary tool of political cleansing; he participated in and promoted the suppression of political dissent, including persecution of political opponents, independent journalists, and groups deemed “counter-revolutionary”; he supported and helped institutionalize labor camps and coercive reeducation policies in early revolutionary Cuba; he advocated armed insurgency abroad, contributing to violent conflicts in Congo and Bolivia that resulted in civilian suffering and deaths; and his writings contain explicit support for authoritarian methods and intolerance toward ideological deviation, which opponents argue facilitated human rights abuses even if he did not personally carry out every act.

Can't bake a cake without breaking a few eggs. It was a REVOLUTION, what do you think what happens during a revolution? Shaking hands and tea parties?

Revolutions that aim to abolish capitalism and limit freedom SUCK per se a priori

Che Guevara was a terrorist and I hope he burns in hell well.

Name one Marxist country that didn’t turn to shit.

Because his ideas were used as central for the soviet shit?

Was it his fault that Lenin decided to create a murdering state with his ideas? I could take any idea from anybody and commit something horrible but who really is to blame in that situation?

Without him, Lenin would not have those ideas? And wouldn’t create it? Marxism sucks regardless of who used it

You think Lenin wouldn't get any other ideas from himself or somebody else? You are saying like Marx was the only philosopher during that era who was left leaning...

Being left leaning and being against market economy and private property are different things. I support welfare states, but not this shit

Marx never advocated for a permanent state, for killing, imprisoning people or gulags which the Soviets created. You should really read more and do research on this subject.

How can you get rid of “evil capitalists” otherwise? He advocated for utopian shit that can’t be achieved without killing millions of people who oppose something they don’t want

Doesn't matter here now as I was talking about what Marx specifically wrote. How people read and mind his text is their own problem.

Marx’s ideas suck because they rely on lazy simplifications that collapse the moment they touch reality. He reduced society to class, treated history like it has a fixed direction, and assumed you could abolish markets and just plan everything rationally. That ignores how economies actually work. They are information systems driven by signals, incentives, and constant adjustment. When you destroy those signals, you do not get equality or efficiency, you get shortages, waste, and stagnation. And when that happens, Marxism always has the same escape route: it was not the system, it was enemies, saboteurs, or people who were not conscious enough. A theory that explains every failure by blaming people instead of itself is not deep, it is dangerous.

Marx is guilty in an ideological sense even if he never signed execution orders. He normalized the idea that extreme concentration of power is acceptable during a transition and that violence can be historically necessary. Once you teach people that they embody history and that opponents are obstacles to human liberation, repression becomes easy to justify. You are no longer hurting people, you are removing barriers. That logic did not come from nowhere, it is built into the framework. The mass crimes that followed were not accidents or misunderstandings. They were the predictable result of a theory that excuses brutality in the present by promising utopia in the future.

Marxism collapses once you notice it confuses moral outrage with analysis. It starts from real anger about inequality, then jumps straight to a total theory that claims to explain history, economics, politics, and even human psychology all at once. That kind of totalizing framework is a red flag. It leaves no room for partial fixes, tradeoffs, or plural solutions. Everything has to be uprooted, ownership rewritten, society reset. In practice that means constant instability, because any gradual reform looks like betrayal and any mixed system looks illegitimate. A theory that only works after you burn everything down is not serious governance.

Another major problem is how Marxism treats power as neutral if the right class holds it. It assumes domination magically stops being domination once it is done in the name of workers. That is naive at best and dishonest at worst. Power does not become gentle because you renamed it. Centralized control over production, speech, and opportunity creates a ruling layer no matter what you call it. Marxism has no reliable internal brakes against this because it distrusts liberal constraints like independent courts, pluralism, or limits on authority. Those are dismissed as bourgeois tricks, which conveniently leaves nothing to stop abuse except the goodwill of the people in charge.

Finally, Marxism is hostile to failure and uncertainty, which is fatal for any complex system. It promises historical certainty and moral clarity, so when outcomes are bad, admitting error becomes impossible. Instead of learning, the system doubles down. Plans get stricter, language gets harsher, dissent gets riskier. A good social theory needs to tolerate being wrong and allow peaceful correction. Marxism does the opposite. It treats being wrong as treason to the future. That is why it keeps producing rigidity, fear, and repression even when the original goal was justice.

Yeah, he thinks we gonna translate this 🤡🤡😂😂

  • The USSR has been gone for 35 years, but it still haunts the Baltic states. Why is that?

Because it's not gone. Ukrainian war is the evidence of that. The idea of it is still alive in the imperialistic views from putin and his cronies

    Why Ukraina start ATO?

Because Russian army invaded Ukraine and occupied Ukrainian Crimea peninsula in 2014. Then the Russians invaded Ukrainian Donbas region.

But Ukrainians in Donbas didn't want a Maidan, so why were they forced to accept a new government? Why? And why were the Europeans silent when the national battalions were killing and raping Ukrainians in Donbas? Such as the Tornado battalion?

Because that is how being a democracy works. Some times you loose. Maidan was completely legal. It was not a coup.

But according to the Ukrainian Constitution and the Criminal Code, it was a coup. And if Ukraina lost in Crimea and Donbas why they started war where?

    No, it was not.

You are straight up saying that the nation that was invaded started the war by fighting back. So russian.

One part of Ukraine wanted the Maidan, but the other didn't. Why force others to do something? But back to the topic, it's been 35 years since the end of the USSR, and it still bothers you. Why?

Well, you are asking the same question, because you're a troll or a bot with month old account. It has been already answered

If they didn't like it, wait for the next election and try to win.

The USSR still bothers people because people like you want it back. Evil bastards.

Right after Maidan there were presidential elections in Ukraine. All Ukrainian citizens on unoccupied Ukrainian territory voted. No one was forced to accept some unelected random strangers.

Some Ukrainian soldiers committed warcrimes. That's true. Most of them were punished according to Ukrainian law.

I answered your questions. Now it's your turn.

Why the Russians invaded Ukrainian Crimea peninsula after signing multiple agreements to respect Ukrainian sovereignty and borders?

Maybe because ukranian constitution was broken after coup?

If Ukrainian constitution was broken after the coup, this gives the Russians no rights to invade Ukraine. Because Ukraine never attacked or threatened to attack the Russia.

If Ukrainian constitution was broken after the coup, it was entirely inner Ukrainian issue. Absolutely no reason to attack Ukraine.

That means the Russian attack on Ukraine was entirely unjustified. Even if Ukrainian constitution was broken after the coup.

Yes because citizens of Crimea and Donbas ask for a help

    1. If some random person in the Russia ask for help US or China, can we consider Chinese invasion in Russia legal and justified?

    2. Russians invaded Ukrainian Crimea peninsula in February 2014. When exactly "citizens of Crimea" asked for help?

I think you're too far gone. Too much Kremlin propaganda, literally your every comment is false, made up, a lie.

    What?

Battalion Tornado, do you read about it? Do you support it?

No, I haven't. Whatever it is, it's still not a pretext to.invade a whole country and kill millions of.people

But tornado can? How old are you?

So why Europe don’t care about what Ukranians national battalions did with civilians in Donbas region?

    Because it's not a pretext for a full scale.invasion

Some dickhead is trying to restore it and occupy us again.
