Bacon is all preference. With that being said, I like my meat to be juicy, not hard, not crispy like a dog treat. I prefer the fat rendered like a rare steak. Those dark brown edges on the right side of the photo are too crispy imo. But that side on the left is perfect for me. Would I eat this? Absolutely.
