I have a headache, ear ache, my cough is barking, and the worse mucus. My kids are sick but the little amount of medicine we could take being pregnant is just rough it’s been 4 days now.

  • I’m being induced today and spent the last 5 days miserably sick with a cold. The first time I’ve been sick my entire pregnancy. I was SO worried I was going to be incredibly sick when I delivered but today I’m feeling so much better.

I hope you feel better soon, not being able to take the really good meds when sick is torture💞

Safe delivery for you my dear 🙏🏽

I wish you all the best! I just had a C-section Christmas eve with a nasty cold and a cough. It's not fun coughing with stitches in your belly...

It really sucks, I hope you clear up soon and enjoy those baby cuddles!

Oh girl I hope you’re feeling better. I cannot imagine being sick with a cough and a c section.

  • It’s peak cold and flu season. Pair that with the holidays and yes, many other people are sick too.

  • Omg I have the same exact symptoms and I am MISERABLE! My dear husband is solo parenting with a sick 1yo, sick 3yo, and a sick pregnant wife… I’m only on day 3! 😭😭

It’s honestly terrible. I am so tired. I’m 33 weeks and 3 cm dilated every time I cough there is some tinkle

  • yeah, congested, headache, chills, headache, luckily no fever but can't wait for this to be over

Yes no fever for me only. Hoping I have only a couple days left.

  • Yesssss. 38 weeks pregnant and lost my voice, congested, sinus pressure like crazy. Just hoping and praying this goes away before baby gets here

I know it’s been a long time and I hope it passes all of us in the next couple weeks.

  • Yes, since Thanksgiving. Worst cold I’ve ever had

  • Ugh yes. I have a 6 week old and we’ve been so sick for a little over a week. I hope you feel better soon!

Hope you and the baby get well soon!

  • 27 weeks pregnant with flu a, got it from my toddler. It’s rough

26 weeks with flu A here - so miserable. Hope we both feel better soon

Ugh sorry you’re down too. I really thought I avoided it because I tested negative for five days after my son’s positive test. But, here I am. Hope you feel better soon!

How many days total before you showed symptoms? I feel like a sitting duck because one of my 3 kids is always being exposed to something. I’m only 22 weeks and realizing that this is going to be a lonnnng flu season. I already got norovirus at 10 weeks and was afraid that I was going to get hospitalized for dehydration. I know that baby’s are resilient to these things we deal with, but it’s still scary! Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you! I got symptoms on Christmas Day, 8 days after my son. It’s definitely going to be a long season- I’m currently debating asking my boss for a pregnancy accommodation to work from home until I go on maternity leave in Feb… I have been sick continually since October

  • 31 weeks and have flu A 😭

  • I got my TDAP shot last week (34w) and I’m terrified of getting whooping cough. That is going around really bad here along with Norovirus and the flu. And I can’t get the flu shot due to bad reactions.

  • Almost 35 weeks and I am getting over the parainfluenza. It put me in the ER because the cough was so bad, my husband wanted to rule out pneumonia and bronchitis. Of course, nothing they could do for it so I just had to suffer for 2 weeks.

  • I had an awful cold a month ago at 32 weeks. Being sick while pregnant is fricken awful, I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone. I can’t imagine also having littles, being pregnant, and it being the holidays. 🤦‍♀️ hope you start to feel better soon. The not being able to take most medicine was so terrible

  • YES. Same symptoms plus a raw throat and my voice has been gone for the past 2 days. I’m 32 weeks and this is the third cold I’ve had this pregnancy. I haven’t been sick this often since I worked as a nanny.

  • Yesss. 29 weeks. Terrible cough and I keep peeing on myself every time. So annoying. Taking robbitussin at night and it’s helped me get some sleep. Day 4. Soo tired.

  • Wait what, there are meds we can take?? I thought everything was a no no

Yes!! Tylenol, robitussin, OB can prescribe more if needed

Yes pretty much. Mine even had plain Mucinex

Yes I went to our pregnancy ER in the hospital. They helped with something else. Then I sneezed and she gave me a list it had about 4 different meds for cough or cold that were ok to take. Timing of the list was great lol

of course! tylenol/paracetamol is pregnancy safe, there are nasal sprats that are safe too

Sinus spray doesn’t help my chest congestion and cough 😭 I’m wondering if Vapor rub is fine, I’ll check my label
