Hi all,
Long story short: bought a house, successful negotiation at the banks resulted in a favorable mortgage. The bank says that in order to validate their offer they need to perform a "waardebepaling" that would be carried out by a third party they usually work with and can cost up to 350 EUR UNLESS I want to have it carried out by another expert.
Question: Can it be done for a lower price and if so can you recommend someone? East VL.
I think the bank should be able to provide you the details from who they accept reports. I do doubt that you will be able to do it for much cheaper though. Unless they accept an estimation from a real estate agent.
I'm pretty certain a report from a "landmeter" will be allowed, but that sounds more expensive than €350.
I had this done by three entities recently, cost between 240 and 330 euros. The bank will need to provide you with a list of people who’s evaluations they accept, becuase it’s different for each bank.
Crelan did the waardzbepaling for us. Was 50€ that the bank paid for us.
Argenta 180€
Prudential requirements my friend , the value of your house will make it into a balance sheet and accounting footnotes , heavily scrutinized by regulators . I think we'd have serious issues if home owners were allowed to freely appoint anyone to perform asset assessment ;) . Check with your bank ;)
