Hello everyone. Got my Ayn Thor a few weeks ago and I’m having the time of my life. I was playing some steam games like Megabonk, Skyrim etc. on GameHub but I recently realised I cannot use GameHub when I have no internet. I’m flying a lot so I was wondering if you know any emulators that I can use to play games like Skyrim, The Witcher, assasins creed and so on on my Thor while I have no access to internet.
Thank you!!

You can use game hub offline, go to pc game settings > steam > offline mode
So if I change the setting from my PC steam it works?
this setting is in gamehub
I changed it but it doesn’t work. GameHub still needs to login to the account and it needs internet. I tried
GameHub lite.
This is the way.
Thank you. I will try !!
Gamehub lite my dude. Get that spyware off yo machine
Thanks!!!
I heard in the recent update of Gamehub that they removed the requirements for certain permissions. I heard it from a YouTuber.
Big if true
How do you configure the controls though?
it auto configures
Weird. It didn't for me.

Hey... You're finally awake...
Howwww, please help😭😭😭😭
I used Game hub, and then I installed it through the Steam option. It defaulted all the settings to work and then I adjusted all the in-game settings to the lowest it can possibly be. With texture set up to medium.
However I have one glitch where voices don't work, so I can't hear anybody. But I just turned the subtitles on and it's not really a big deal since I'm usually playing where I keep the volume down anyway.
Also, what settings are you using? It’s pretty laggy for me. (Also if it’s not too much where do I change the said settings? In the GameHub app?
You can change the game quality settings when you first start it
To get audio working you need to run the directx10 redistributable in the container. Probably you need to download the correct directx10 version and add it to your skyrim in the container. This reddit post explains https://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidGaming/s/8oZNq9SUUW
Yes, but you can’t play if you have no internet connection, right?
If you get the GOG version, you can just install it on another computer, zip it up, send it over, unzip it, and play it too. I've actually been doing that more because of the requirement to go online. People say you can tell Game hub to launch Steam and offline mode but I still haven't figured it out yet.
Plus if you're playing a game on Steam on your main computer, and then you want to let's say take your Thor with you quickly to go someplace or you have to go to the bathroom or whatever, you can't play a second different Steam game. However you can use steam link to keep playing the game you were just playing.

Gog version? What's that?
Gog is a game marketplace like steam
It's not the question your asking but from experience the switch version runs better on the Thor than the PC (witcher)
I’m really happy Nintendo created a device that basically spawned a ton of mobile ports of popular pc games
Good to know
What emulators are you using for switch games?
Eden is the best , the alternative is citron
You can play switch games on citron?? Had no idea. I will try. Thanks
Og Skyrim should be fine, I tried the newer one, it didnt work as well, I have a thor pro
Winlator also works well for Windows games, although I haven't tried Steam.
Also technically it's not emulation, Wine is a compatibility layer 😅
Wine means wine is not emulation lol im sure you know but fun tidbit
I love recursive acronyms, another famous one (which WINE probably borrow from) is GNU (GNU’s not unix).
If you get a verision without drm through GOG or other means you can add it and you will be able to play with no internet
What is GOG? And how do I do it? Do u have a guide?
gog is a store platform like steam, but you will actually own the game (they'll give you the installer). It's different with steam, where you're actually given a license to play the games you buy on steam.
try googling "gog" or "gog vs steam" to find out more
Use gamhub Lite
if you didn't know you can disable that line on the right or make it invisible with the Floating Icon button (which lets you still swipe and use the options inside)

Oh wow I had no idea, thank you man !!! Much appreciated
do rise and shadow of the tomb raider run? i have been playing through tomb raider 2013 and was surprised how well it worked, but didnt think it could be pushed to the next games
Sometimes youre better off using geforce now free version (unless youre happy to pay for 1440p) to run certain games
There's also self hosting 'GeForce Now', if you have your own PC. I'm my own cloud PC.
Artemis. Apollo. Tailscale. Done. :)
No, those games don’t run well at all. Only the first “Tomb Raider” one seems to run fumes and
Autocorrect is hard. Sorry, bruh.
I have been playing Skyrim for the first time on my Thor via Gamehub. It's a good time
Yes, but you need internet connection to play
You can run gamehub in offline mode and any game previously launched on your device in online mode should work (that doesn't otherwise require internet)
I played skyrim on my 4 hour holiday flight yesterday, no internet, worked as expected.
You must run gamehub in offline mode specifically. Online mode with no internet is not the same. Hades 2 is another one i have played offline no issues

Thank you! I will try
Make sure you download 5.1.3 NOT 5.3.3. The pre release build has a lot of bugs.
For me Skyrim is pretty laggy. Do you ave any clue why? Could it be from the version?
Try using the EmuReady site to get the best config
Thanks !!
Under the Steam settings for each game, you can enable "Offline Mode" which allows games to boot without network connection. Although on the Google Play Store version of GameHub I had trouble getting that to consistently work offline.
I would suggest using GameHub lite GameHub Lite as I have found it a lot more reliable to use offline mode when I'm not connected to the internet on my Thor.
Thank you!!
Has anyone tried Batman Arkham night on this yet? I’m thinking of buying it to play it on the Thor it’s 4$ on steam
Should work
Thank you everyone for the answers!! Using GameHub lite does indeed fix the issue! Enjoy!
Skyrim was running at a solid 30 fps on the newest eden update
Without the blinking bugs? The lighting always starts flickering when I go into caves.
Not sure. Never made it that far lol.
Bro that's like 10 minutes lol, does nobody play past the opening scenes in these subs?
I beat it 3 or 4 times. Just wanted to see if it booted and what the frame rate looked like. Not looking at a playthrough atm.
Gotcha. Skyrim is one of those games that everybody has beaten a few times at this point to be fair, it's not exactly new haha
Would the Odin 3 be better for PC emulation? Thinking of selling my Thor Pro.
It would only be better for PC Emulation and a lot worse for other types of Emulation.
The Odin 3 uses a Snapdragon 8 Elite and custom drivers used for other type of Emulation are simply not there yet but honestly if PC gaming on the go is your sole focus here you might as well spend the extra dollars and buy a Steam Deck.
Not really if you want portability, im waiting on my Odin3 as something I can bring with me into work without taking up all my bag space. The deck is just so damn chonky, I still love it though
Keep the Thor
I don't have a thor lol
My mad, I thought you were OP
