Absolutely loving this. So useful to have my guides all together, and remembering where you left off is phenomenally useful feature. Kudos!
Is cross device syncing coming? Have a Thor but sometimes just want to pull out the phone.
It is on the roadmap.
Great work on this! Is there bookmark support within the guide? I often use the text find to jump around sections of a guide and have a hard time finding my original place again.
hey there. Currently, the app remembers where you last left off, but if you start searching for text, that will be your latest point to be remembered. I will add a feature on the roadmap to add bookmarks explicitly.
I mentioned in another thread, but folder sorting by console would help dramatically. Basically how a front end handles games.
Love this app! Feature request: it would be great to get table of contents and chapter support for .txt guides.
So this doesn't automatically link to guides? You have to input the link to a guide? If that is the case, and you already looked up a guide to have the link I am not sure I see the point of the app.
Hi there,
Pixel Guide automatically link to the guides. Specifically, it gives users 3 ways to add game guides:
1- Import your own PDF, Single-Page HTML and any image files.
2- Find feature takes users to GameFAQs website and users can then download HTML, Text and Map/Chart guides directly on the device.
3- The Add a Shortcut feature that was included in the latest version. If above methods are not sufficient, users can add their own arbitrary URL as a shortcut. This is just a supplementary method if all above fails.
Hope that clarifies.
Also, it looks better than just a chrome page guide, can easily scale the font size and dark mode is much nicer.
And having the guides and other links you want organized neatly against the game makes it much easier to jump into what you want quickly.
