Cheetahs don’t have fully retractable claws like most other feline species do. They’re more like cleats, built for speed. Semi-retractable and kind of like dog claws.
That is genuinely sweet. It shows how much trust the cheetah has in the caretaker. That kind of gentle interaction is rare to see, and it definitely made my morning better.
