↑ Forza mag article.
V6 replaced w/ a Tipo F105CB V8 from a Ferrari 328, stroked to 4.0 L; power bumped up from 300 to 400 hp.
F355 throttle body fuel injection; 360 Modena brakes.
Very usable, capable of being taken on road trips — owner went on an 800 mi skip trip and only stopped for coffee and fuel; performed well at 6,500 ft and at freezing temperatures.
None of the car’s modern updates are visible from the inside.
For looks only, I think 1 wheel size smaller and more sidewall would look better. I like them, but they are a touch too dominant.
I’m sure it wasn’t a budget constraint.
love the Dino and apart from the wheels this could pass for factory… the intake plenum integrated into the engine lid is so clean
First thing I noticed was the intake too. I need to see more of that and how the heck it doesn't break its seals with engine movement.
This is cool and all, but the owner should consider having HRE or similar make some period correct appearing wheels. I get that the OEM 360 Modena wheels are for caliper clearance, but they look odd on there.
Exactly. Like I get it. You put bigger brakes on in response to more power. That's good and sensible. You now need bigger diameter wheels to clear the brake system. You probably have spent over 200K so far, so why for the love of god did you not source some more appropriate looking wheels!
I like it. I like it enough that I am annoyed. For whatever reason this sent me straight to the angry jealousy of just how insanely wealthy you would have to be to even think about having this experience. So it’s like cool; but the kind of cool that is off-putting immediately to me at least today. Cool story bro. But there you have it.
I love it but the wheels are so ugly
Opinions are like assholes, but I really like this. 8.5/10, would shred those divisive tires.
I'm with you. Normally modern wheels on a vintage car really make me bristle, but IMO this is 100% really well done, wheels and all.
Not into Ferrari, but love this one.
After seeing 17 million 911 restomods this hits very nice. I would love to play with this car and a wheel configurator though. It would be fun to try on some 14 and 15 inch vintage European and Japanese wheels.
The 360 is the spiritual successor to the Dino, so I get the wheel choice and somehow it works. Would love to drive this.
Gorgeous
Got dang that is absolutely beautiful
Tough Enough!
Very nice!
That is badass. However, I've had the chance to hear a 246 go by one day. That sound is unbeatable, so good. The car on the other hand... Lol.
bad ass..
This is like nails on a chalkboard for me, I can see a lot of people loving it and that's the beauty of the car scene, there will always be people who love something. But everything about this I hate, sorry 😂
OK not everything, the exhaust is cool, and the overall quality looks top tier.
whoa those wheels look amazing
Really…? I thought the opposite
well, taste is subjective
Cool! But I rather have a 308 GTS QV tbh.
Those wheels are a war crime on this car.
