I would say tahno takes this. In a 1v1 against a naive katara his slimeball tactics would work well.

What about when we first properly see Ozai’s angels in action? She’s pretty good with her water pouch against two pretty powerful non benders. Thoughts?
She is skilled for sure - I am a big believer in experience means more than anything. By the end of season 3 the gang had to use their bending to fight for their lives constantly which forces you to be creative and do away with any limitations you may conceive of yourself.
The advantage the next generation has is that they build off the skills of the previous one. Ie tony hawk is probs the best known skateboarder and first to nail a 900. However children as young as 9 can do 3 in a row now. Is this 9yo a better rider than tony?
Tahno’s fighting would be different to anything katara has encountered before at this young age especially in a water bender v water bender match up.
Tahno is underrated. He's tier 1 probender and champion for a reason
Also a slimeball and a cheat. Paid off refs in order to keep winning, but I did feel sorry for him when he got his bending taken away because only someone like Ozai, unalaq, or kuvira really deserve it (also Zaheer!)
