My friend is pretty sure its a female, badge huntsman. Irelocated her to a big fallen stump in a back paddock. She was very relaxed and had no worries being moved.

Pretty sure it’s Isopedella victorialis (Victorian Huntsman Spider)

Could also be Isopedella cerussata (Southern Grey Huntsman)

I’m not real sure how they distinguish them.

Wow that is an absolutely beautiful creature to look at. I really really like types of spiders that look more like animals than insects.

I still wouldn't want to go around playing with it or touching it but none the less more comforting than a shiny/black/armoured spider etc...
