I just had to share, because I’ve never seen such a well formed Witch’s Broom before, let alone on a hardwood like Osage. You too can see this magnificent bastard on the paved northeast hike and bike trail in Barkley Meadows Park in Del Valle, that runs along Onion Creek.
i saw my first osage orange in little walnut creek green belt a week ago. so cool to come across those funky little fruits.
