between about 830p-10p, did anyone see a gigantic, angular, opaque, blue light coming down from the sky - looked like it reached the ground? it was so stunningly perfect. looked like it was glowing. don't ask me how i know it was going down (instead of up towards the sky). it looked like MASSIVE escalator, without steps. it was brilliant. as if in a movie portrayal seeing a stairway to heaven (tho not religious seeming) .i was riding my bike at the time. when i stopped to get off my bike, it was gone. was hoping i wouldn't get snarked at, but it's prob inevitable.

Please tell us more. Where were you, what direction was it in, was it moving? Roughly how many degrees above the horizon? What kind of angle from the horizon? Did the top end seem to go to one point in the sky and stop? Was it hazy at the time? Cloudy?
Could it have been a searchlight?
