I remember reading that this year is considered to be a la Nina year (albeit a weak effect). Do you think this dry weather we've been having for the past couple of weeks will continue for the season? I know that that's like asking a crystal ball the same question, but I am curious as to what you think.
Models suggest we could see rain towards the end of November, but at 10-15 days out, even that is a spotty prediction as of today.
We'll likely see our area bump up to D1 Moderate later this week. South GA (and parts of south Atlanta) could really use some rain

but to add on, La Nina's are typically warmer and dryer for the Southeast.
