Over the past few weeks we noticed our cat had a foul odor, initially we thought she got in to something.
A week or two ago we realized it was her breath. But thought it could be dental related. Sunday her nose looked a little swollen and Monday night even more swollen and I noticed she wasn’t closing her mouth all the way sometimes.
I made an appointment Tuesday for the same day and she had lost 1.4 lbs since October. I thought she was eating and drinking because she was always by the bowl.
She has an autoimmune disorder so there is a tiny chance, very unlikely that it is not cancer. The vet thinks it is SCC.
I just need some advice. Is there any chance that she makes it through this. She is so young and still cuddling and playing. I thought I had so much more time. But I don’t want to cause her more pain by keeping her here for me.
