My sweet girl Lillie is a ~3 y/o female who arrived at a shelter as a kitten with severe hind leg ataxia. These are the x-rays I was given when I adopted her a year or so later. They never figured out the specific cause of the paresis, but a surgeon who worked on her case suspected it was from a spinal injury she sustained before coming into care.

I took Lillie to our vet recently for a UTI and showed them the old x-rays while I was there. The doctor noted that one of the discs in her spine looks funky and it’s something we might want to look further into. So I figured I’d come to Reddit and see if anyone else sees it!

FYI, Lillie is in generally good health and is a spunky gal who just walks like a drunkard. She does tend to get UTIs, which is likely related to the paresis but we are working on a strategy to prevent them moving forward. This is not an urgent request—just curiosity!
