hello! my cat is 9 months old, we’ve had her for about 4 months now. when we adopted her she had tape worms, but we de wormed her and got her tested for everything.

about two months after adopting her she had a little case of diarrhea in our bedroom, we thought maybe it was the food we had just switched them to, so we switched back and she never did it again. until this week. everyday this week she has had diarrhea, multiple times a day, all over the house. she uses the litter box to pee and poop sometimes, but it’s mostly in the house.

when this happens, she sprints around almost like she has the zoomies, and you can hear her stomach gurgling, and she goes wherever she’s standing. i can tell her stomach is hurting her. we took her to the vet and again, got her tested for everything. organ levels, any and all illnesses & tested a poop sample. all came back normal. the vet basically said “i’m not sure” and gave us a probiotic to give her for 12 days. it’s not getting better at all.

we switched her food to science hill sensitive stomach and made sure there’s nothing around the house she’s getting in to that could be upsetting her. what can i do to help soothe her stomach, and what could possibly be happening?
