I prefer the second term it seems so much more memorable and transparent ( yes because we are talking about stuff that his first term has never done.) so which one do you prefer?

  • Second, oh so clearly.

He knows what he’s doing. He has excellent people around him who get things done.

    VD >> Pence. Rubio >> Pompeo/Tillerson RFK >> Azar

Yes they are so much more better but the only thing is that trump picks attorney generals that kind of suck but it’s okay

    Yeah Bondi is meh.

Are you more a Jeff Sessions or Bill Barr person then?

    I’m neither they sucked

Yeah none of these are great.

But he only picks the best people. How come he always ends up with people who “sucked?”

I think his cabinet and selections are well above average. I can point to high level people who were meh in every administration this century.

  • All 3 times that President Trump has run, he was a better choice than the Dem nominee. His first term was quite amazing, as Trump proved all of the analysts wrong by beating Hillary “Madam President” Clinton. Then the disastrous economic impacts of Team Biden/Harris during 2020-24 were enough for Voters to ensure President Trump another term. Overall, Joe Biden was just an embarrassment as President… but watching the comedy of trying to portray Kamala Harris as a serious Presidential candidate as a last second fill-in was actually kind of sad.

This seems to be answering why you voted for him? Maybe Im missing something in your reply but which presidential term of trump do you prefer, his first or second, and which cabinet do you prefer? Can you clarify?

No preference, as President Trump was the best choice for America all three times.

To clarify, you don’t see a notable difference either direction between this term and his first term then? Or something else?

  • His middle term. In a century school kids will have a hard time believing this progression of pictures isn't AI-generated, in the same way you wonder if some of Teddy's adventures aren't a bit enhanced.

  • I prefer the policy of his first term and just about everything else from the second.

But curiously, isn’t policy most important?? I mean, what other reasons do presidents get elected besides policy?? Could you please elaborate?

But curiously, isn’t policy most important??

Policy dictates action, usually. He ran on a very similar platform as his first term but the implementation has differed greatly. I can summarize how I feel about this term as... I like everything I voted for and I don't like the actions the administration has taken so far that deviate from what was advertised. Like I voted to seal the border and deport illegal immigrants. I didn't vote to sent those to CECOT and I didn't vote to have a black bag operation against Maduro. Some things feel more like a neocon administration and I don't particularly like that. If I wanted that, I could have voted for low energy Jeb in 2016.

Makes sense. But how would you argue with other MAGA that abolishing Maduro is in American interest??

That's the thing... Getting Maduro out of power IS in the American interest. I don't support how we did it. Trump was seeming to start an isolationist policy by removing their ability to sell oil. We may have very well destabilized the country with our actions (only time will tell) and a lot of blood on our hands. I'm tired of seeing blood on our hands.

So from what I understand, you are OK with that, if long term effects won’t destabilize Venezuela, correct?

I'm okay with forcing a violent dictator to step down? Yes. Just like when Trump bombed Russian assets in Syria (Twice!)... It didn't result in escalation. Trump picked the right course, regardless of how I felt about it. Maybe his actions were the right call, despite how I feel about it. Only in the days, moths and years going forward will we be able to tell the results. If he did the right thing, Trump will have saved a lot of lives and unfathomable human suffering. Sanctions and economic embargos hurt the population the worst. Look at Iran for the last 30 years.

Anyways, if he's miscalculated, any fallout is directly on America.

And what do you think of buying Greenland?

If the citizens of Greenland vote for such a thing then I'm unopposed. I hope we ask Svalbard to join too. Because who doesn't love a pirate colony?

What if they only agreed if they were allowed to join as a state?
