Yes you need cholesterol and healthy protein/fats to build your hormones including your stress hormones. Try eating 4-6 eggs scrambled in butter for breakfast each day, over time that will relax you and make life easier. Eggs contain every nutrient the human body needs because the developing embryo needs the same nutrients as humans to form its bones, skin, muscles, heart, brain etc. Plus at least you always have a good breakfast wherever you end up that day.
