I love my freinds, but none of them are like me in any way or want to do the same activities I want to, even when I compromise to do stuff they want. I’m getting really tired of them tbh and I don’t want to be cuz I seriously do love them, so I think I need to expand my horizons and meet more people but I haven’t really done that since grade 9 and most my freinds I got because they came up to me not the other way around. So does anyone have advice or suggestions? how’d you meet the person you actually click with? How’d you meet your best freind?

go to a club of your interest or something idk
i met my best friend and we 'clicked' bc i talked to her first and found out we had similar interests. we ended up joining similar clubs and we eventually formed our own friend group. the best advice i can give is to meet a lot of people. sorta like speed dating in a way. find what kind of people you gravitate towards, get to know them, and afterwards, you can start nurturing the depth of your friendship with them once you've found common ground.then you'll eventually meet someone you can call your best friend. you mentioned you wanted to expand your horizons, so i suggest joining clubs and just talking to your classmates bc there's a lot of ppl in hs.
