I am in my mid 40s. I have older children in their 20s. I've spent my life as a 'straight' man in a rural community in far Upstate New York but find myself desperate to experiment with a man. My problem is that in my rural area there are few people and I'm deathly afraid of being outed to my family, friends and coworkers. If you were closeted, how did you find someone to experiment with that 1. Won't out you and 2. Will let you go at your own pace?
Go on holidays away from my normal environment after searching LGBTQ friendly resorts! Of course keeping your desires sectret isn't good long term proposition. At simply problematic to cease hiding.
It’s never too late to move.
I have an excellent job. I make a six-figure salary with overtime and benefits. I can retire in 4+ years. Moving away from my job is not feasible now. When I retire? Definitely!
