You can’t. €7.99 was an offer around 2020. There was then one for €10.99 and now it’s €12.99. The €7.99 is “for life” so I’ll ride it as long as I can.

I’m on the 12.99 plan. I keep the 5g turned off. Phone spends all day switching between 5g , 4g and 3G every time I get or make a call. Absolutely destroys my battery compared to Vodafone. Dont feel much difference when I keep 5g turned off.
Lucky you, mine's still stuck on 4G even though I'm paying more lol
I’m on 7.99 and happy out with 4g. The difference is negligible. For the price I can’t complain
Same, I've no plans on ever switching!
I'm on 12.99 how do I change to 7.99 and what's the difference?

Those on gomo also got upgraded to 5g without having to pay more a while back.
5g is likely being bundled into the base bundle supplied to MVNOs.
I didn’t! I’ve been on €9.99 since the start but no 5G
Yes, 14 years with 48 plan and recently I've noticed im getting 5g. I am paying 7.99

Can i move a number to 48 after ive been using the sim for about 3 years.
I want to move from vodafone to 48, but 48 has been used by me 3 years, i dont mind losing my 48 number.
I originally started the 7.99 48 sim to try it out and since vodafone is throttling my speed i want to dump them.
You can move your number, I was with Virgin mobile and moved my number over.
I’m on 7.99 plan but it’s LTE not seeing 5G
No 5G still LTE maybe for different accounts or counties first or it’s a glitch!
I am on gomo and 5g is working much slower than LTE. I have changed back in settings.
48 - 7.99 plan. I've had 5G pop up every now and then. As soon as I do a speed test to check it goes back to 4G. Haven't seen it in a while though.

5g is fucking shite unless you're in a major town or city.
I’m paying 11.99 not on the 5g plan but the only single I ever get is LTE.
Lads ye will be paying more eventually, it’s three Ireland. Nobody escapes with these
It’s been 5 years lad.
