Hello, I, a 24M, am on Vacation with my mom and we are going to Cocoa Beach. This is my first time in Florida and I was wondering what do yall recommend for activities?
Also Hilton cocoa beach oceanfront has a sweet tiki bar on the beach. Just tell the parking attendant that you’re going to the restaurant and you won’t have to pay to park.
Beach bars, Cocoa village dining and shopping, Space center, Ron John surf shop rents surfboards and has beginner lessons. Rent a bike and cruise the beach.
There’s a bar right under the causeway across from the luanchpad. Last time I was there I saw the launch and landing from there. It was pretty amazing.
If you like space, KSC visitor center is just up the road and worth a visit. The Port is a cool place to check out the cruise ships docked. Grills is a good waterfront restaurant there. The weather is nice for an airboat ride in the St. John’s marsh: Lone Cabbage is your closest option. If you like the outdoors, see if there are kayak rentals available in the Thousand Islands.
Destination food hall, fourth street filling station, surfinista are all pretty good food options. The Sandbar is a good beach dive. Check launch schedules, there will likely be a SoaceX and possibly other launches while you’re there, head to the beach or Jetth Park to check them out. The SoaceX reentries are very cool, especially if there are any night launches.
If you go on AirBnB experiences they have a few things you can book. Ex. You can book a paddle board sesh to see dolphins and wildlife. Or a local as a tour guide type shit.
Check YouTube for rocket launch schedule, many nice parks in that area, you can also book a boat trip or fishing, st Augustine isn’t far and wonderfully decorated for the holidays
Cocoa beach is alright. It’s a big drinking area. If you come here to party just be aware that Cocoa beach PD will arrest you for sneezing the wrong way. Be careful.
Definitely Kennedy Space Center. Go for the tour and the whole experience.
Check out a rocket launch tmrw morning - looks like 7:19am - look north
Ooooo ok, that'll be cool, used to being at EAA but that is definitely not at EAA
The beach is where you want to be
If you like animals, the Brevard County Zoo is nice. You can get through it in a couple of hours.
Surprisingly solid zoo …
Go to cocoanuts on the beach and get trashed
Finally someone who gets it!

I will definitely look these up
There’s a launch tomorrow morning at 7:19. SpaceX is usually relatively punctual unless weather is bad, but it’s forecast to be okay.
Book a fishing charter is my recommendation.

The space center is absolutely amazing. Take the tour.
I might be too old and too female for giving advice to 24M, :) BUT this is free, small, and quote interesting. https://www.cocoafl.gov/Facilities/Facility/Details/Brevard-Museum-of-History-and-Natural-Sc-20

Surf
As for drinking establishments I like the following 3:
The Filling Station Preacher Bar Nolan's Irish Pub
I haven't been disappointed in any of the restaurants I've tried there.
The surfing, fishing, and kayaking are all top tier. If you happen to catch a sail cat be very careful not to get stung.
Kennedy and then off to playlinda
go to the port..lots of restaurants and you can watch the ships comin in/out
use the online port schedule for arrivals/departures
rocket launch schedule
great wednesday food and happy hour specials at ellie mae's tiki bar (other days as well)
also great HH at fourth st filling station and at salty sisters bar and grill (delicious smash burgers at both)
plenty of fun, unique bars like fish camp, hunkerdown hideaway, tiny tavern, jonathan's pub
Kennedy Space Center, Ron Jon, guided fishing trip, Coconuts and the BEACH!

If you can swim well but don’t know how to surf, take a surfing lesson.
Ron Jons.....
Lido cabaret
Airboat ride at Camp Holly

Then have lunch at their tiki bar.
Hope you just got to watch the rocket launch. Didn’t see it but I sure heard it
Go to Sandbar. Eat, drink, be happy.
