I had a suspected sprained ankle in August. Got an X-ray and it was clear but never looked at the ligaments.
The sprain wasn’t bad, it barely bruised and only swelled for a little, but my ankle still hurts to turn inwards months later.
Could it just be that it’s still healing or could the damage be permanent? It doesn’t hurt to walk on or press. Just when I turn my ankle inwards towards my other foot. It feels stiffer but I might be imagining it
