Looking for a couple of new pieces in our house, would like to have a bit of a quality upgrade compared to Ikea & Jysk, but not looking to drop 5k+ on all pieces like some design stores.
What are some good middle of the road stores where you can get quality furniture for a good deal? We're mainly looking for a new sofa, coffee table, and a bar or display cabinet
Ikea? I mean good stuff is expensive, and cheap stuff is crap. Ikea is a bit the middle ground... Or, what I do, because I'm personally not so much into new stuff: buy second hand. Kringwinkels and Troc and such often have nice 2nd hand furniture. You really have to look around to get a good deal though.
Krea in Sint-Niklaas. You have a wide selection, but more expensive than weba, but still okay. We also had a paint mark on a door and one production fault in a chair and they replaced it without any hassle.
Our couch is from Prima Meubelen in Erembodegem, also, more expensive than weba (you also have really expensive stuff there) but really sturdy (we have a kid who likes to jump in the couch)
I also love Krea! Good selection and great customer service
It’s worth a trip to Morres Meubels in Hulst (they also open on Sundays FYI). Great selection, huge showroom and they have a restaurant so you can make a trip out of it!
Which region?
In Lier there is an Ygo.
This was worth a 45 min drive for chairs and a coffee table
Weba, very strong in sofa’s and display cabinets.
Junto maybe?
We got some very good items from them before it got rebranded.
Henders & Hazel?
Odrada in the Kempen
If you are in Brussels, check out Reno, recently moved here also and most of the stuff we bought are from there. Great selection and variety and quite a few vfm pieces

JUNTOO
Check Zoli99 out. Very happy w their furniture. And you can pay in 3 installments.
Maisons du Monde has good promotions. Discontinued and showroom furniture can be heavily reduced. Quality and selection is good.
Furnified!
Deba.
Astuce in Gent has a nice selections with a good price/quality ratio.
Umber & Smoke in Gent has some unique pieces.
In Sint-Niklaas Jonckheere and Deba have a wide variety of choices.
We went to Hulst but found the stores in Belgium had the same or better prices.
controversial opinion - but i've heard really good things about some of those temu foam sofas.
if you're into the huge, deep seats and that corduroy look ^^
i mean for the money i can see why people go for it
