I’m fairly sure a pair of plaques was swapped inadvertently when installed at the Mucha exhibit in Rome. Should I say something? Who would I mention it to?
I’ve observed this several times over the years, usually in the exhibition spaces of mid to small US art museums. I usually alert the gallery attendants in the area. They can best pass that information on to curators and those who set up the exhibition to address any mixup in placards.
