• It’s the kind of thing I’d love to have tattooed on me

ikr, esoteric and/or geometric tatoo are the best.

  • Gorgeous. Showed it to my kids even despite the NSFW. They loved it too.

Thank you! Glad I can contribute to fuel their imagination.

  • I know this wasn’t intentional, nor am I serious with thinking these observations mean anything. But the angels form and symbols remind me a lot of particle physics: 2 upward pointing hands, and 1 downward pointing hand? Protons are made up of 3 fundamental particles, 2 up quarks and 1 down quark. Then the three rings on the angels head correspond to the energy levels on atoms where electrons, another fundamental particle, would lay like the eyes on the ring. Then the beam of light (photons, another fundamental particle) being held which is reminiscent of Feynman diagrams depicting electrons bumping into protons at high energy levels, letting off photons. Interesting parallels:)

You're right, I hadn't thought of that at all. On the other hand, it’s always really interesting to see this kind of interpretation because I think that’s the case for a lot of artistic works which are obviously open to interpretation even if the author had a specific intention to begin with.

There will always be fascinating audience interpretations that the author didn't necessarily think of. I think many artists or authors read certain theories and explanations and think, 'Damn, that’s incredible, I wish I’d thought of that myself' (That's the case here :D)

So the theme is super interesting. Another really funny thing is that I actually just heard about the composition of these fundamental particles yesterday in a YouTube video.

Conclusion : We're all connected and we're living in a simulation.

  • Gesundheit.

But on a more serious note love the line work for the rock shadows. The piece reminds me of a mix between berserk and Jean giraud influences.

I imagine that these inspirations must be unconscious, but I'll take the compliment!
