I think there is some validity to the whole male loneliness thing. It's bullshit that we live in a world where one sex gets hit on so much and in really fucked up ways that they just want it to stop and the other sex gets hit on such a miniscule amount that we're all touch starved and freak out at even "you have a nice smile". But also there's a huge amount of guys that are lonely because they're pricks. Personally I didn't have a partner until I was like... 16 or 17 and that person never really told me I was pretty all that often. My current partner does. Now that I'm 19... And I got lucky. And when I'm single I get like maybe one compliment every two years (that's not from like Reddit IG). When you're a woman people "compliment you" by saying creepy shit and when you're a guy people just never compliment you. From what I've seen. Not trying to compare the two but neither one is good
