This is when I take the time to absolutely clown on the aggro raider that shot me first. You HAVE to make them feel stupid for making a stupid decision. It's mandatory.
My go-to is "Duuuuude, it didn't have to be this way. I told you I was friendly, and you decided to be real fuckin smart. Still feel smart, smart-guy?"
Had this on Stella last night, we both “don’t shoot” and I say, “sounds good” in proximity chat, a few meters away I get shot in the back, roll into a hallway, and shoot him as he comes running. “It didn’t have to be like this, you could have just not shot like you said.”
Butt once this dude came and tried to rat me out, I turned around and killed him, and started gloating... and then this other guy shows up and goes: "Hey whats going on here." and shoots me too...
AND THEN he proceeds to rez us both and tell the other guy to be on his way. It was actually crazy.
I think that like another person mentioned that often it really is just an excuse. They don't care who shot first, they just wanna go third party and clean up the fight for the loot from both bodies.
I think if you shoot first it should stop you from being able to surrender and you have to listen to the person that embarrassed you for an extra minute.
It's wild that the pvpers here say stuff like "it's a pvp game", when that's not pvp - That's some spinless cowardly behavior. Be friendly and then shoot their back. You don't really want pvp, and you're not even good at it.
When I hear someone say "friendly" and say "I'm not" and gun them down, I get threatened with reports and people drop slurs. PvE players are toxic too.
Any player can be toxic. I think what the comment is trying to say is that this is not pvp, just coward behaviour. A pve player saying friendly, being warned or getting no answer, and getting downed, then dropping slurs and report threats is an idiot.
I agree haha we all idiots. That said, I have been lucky with my interactions and found many friendly raiders and fought many fun pvp battles. My only issue is liars, but that happens in other games too. It's a low risk high reward, and requires no skill.
Same thing happened to me yesterday 😂 Gave a "hey raider!", continued the same direction, dude thought I didn't see him pull his gun, rolled behind cover after he hit me ones, rolled him with a kettle. Don't understand what homie was hoping to profit at 29 minutes left with everyone running free kits before expedition.
PvPvE sandbox games bring out the absolute worst and the best in people unfortunately. Plenty of examples of people being kind to each other but unfortunately some people can’t help but show their true colours.

Every time I've done this a third party has come along and thought I was the aggressor and killed me because of it.
