Because they need to free up stash space so why not kill as many people as possible to see if you can get some blueprints or some other shit?
Worst case you die and get to clear up stash space. I do this all the time (not what this guy is doing), but I've extract camped before too. It's fun as shit. Try it.

Yeah my sneaky playstyle changed once I realized that nearby players can hear SO MUCH, they can hear you applying bandages and shields, opening up your map and menus, even moving stuff around in your inventory makes a noise.
Can't say whether I hear it in the video but that noise in an otherwise silent area piques my danger sense sooo strongly. It feels like such a pvp focused tell.

Relax, they’ll fix it. Embark made an amazing product and they know it, that’s the reason a 10 year plan was made, I think all bugs will eventually be straighten up. Also remember Embark isn’t a huge company. With 2 big games right now. The finals is an awesome game too.
