Buried City. Outside the Grandioso Apartments there is a bush, with the raider camp next to it and towards the highway there are 2 baskets with 5-6 each. Could find a raiders cache too. A bit further you fine like 4 more bushes. Ran this route twice and got 37 both times in like 5-10 mins. The baskets seems to spawn everytime and gives you 5+
Run around in snow and look for raider caches i usually find like 6-8 in those and like stated before look for baskets those net them also other than bushes
Along with what everyone else has said, you can prioritize XP gains to level your event progress. They are basically set up in a way that gives you a burst of candle berries proportionate to the milestone you’re at.
Load into Buried, sprint to Marano Park, grab the 3-4 berries spawns maybe the basket that spawns inside the small building and then immediately go down the stairs to the extract. Takes 3-5 mins and gets you 4-10 berries.
I finished the event, but for the project I need 7 more Candleberries, and 1 more mushroom.
Saving the mushroom for tomorrow, so I get a snap hook after the expedition.

I mean I didn’t try to finish the pass but I did over time and there’s still some weeks left not to mention many xp boosts, double xp weekends or days, etc. O don’t think it’s that bad though yes they probably need to adjust it but it’s certainly doable without hardcore focus.

Finished that 2 days ago and the 5M last night. Had 600k on Wednesday I like that this doesn't need a lot of time to finish the events specifically because I am only LVL 55 and only started on the 1st of December
Finished on Wednesday, the project gives you a total of 10k merits so you only really need to play for 5k worth of merits (and that will obviously be done as well while working towards the project)
I don't mind the events being typically easy but just feels like they could atleast fill it with some extra items even if it's just a single wolfpack or some components
Finished the event on Friday. The frostbite was so lame imo, the second I was done collecting berries I never loaded cold snap again. What’s the point of snow on the map if you can’t even enjoy it, running inside constantly and running out of stamina was such a drag and I found none of it fun or even slightly enjoyable.
Where are y’all finding your industrial battery? Haven’t seen one in ages. I’m overflowing with candle berries that are about to get wiped by expedition 😅
I see people in the comments saying the need XXX item to complete…but isn’t this just the reward for the flickering flames track that you get merits towards just by playing the game??
Is there any trick to getting the final 5k merits? It feels awfully slow. Even if you get a lot of XP you still get at most around 200 merits per round. I feel like I'm missing something.
Yeah was able to finish it in 2 days I really think Embark needs to add more rewards to these events because only grind about 8 hours to do this and it didn't really take long the first one for stella montis was a few hours to get everything cuz he only needed 3500 merits the first time and this one's 15,000 so it definitely felt a little bit of a grind.
I’m sorry, but this is just so LAZY and ridiculous. Why even bother designing something if it’s worse or just as bad as the first? These guys put little effort into designing something that looks good and is exciting. The rewards are garbage.
I absolutely love the game, but the lackluster quality of rewards and other items given as rewards are not even worth doing the shit for.
I think this coupled with zero bug fixes for cheating exploits shows just how lazy this team of Devs are. Be mad, I don’t care anymore about trying to be careful what ai say in fear that I get downvoted to hell, I’m over the lazy devs in this game.
