Looks like my mom's hand when she accidentally brushed against latex (severe allergy)
I'm wondering if they have something fucked with their hand like allergies or a condition and haven't gotten it checked out/took the pic at the worst possible timing
People with severe arthritis have hands like this:

I have arthritis and my doctor is putting me on medication so my hands donāt get this bad. My old teacherās wife has the same condition I do and her hands look the same
I feel called out, so I'll be a bad person just this one time.
Can't tell if that's a swollen hand with very short fingers or a semi-swollen foot with very long toes. I can't imagine anyone surviving with their hand and fingers looking like that and those look like toes so I'm guessing foot. Please be a foot.
This likely isnāt that bad. I have fat fingers and wear rings that do this, and I can get them off very easily with soap. It doesnāt hurt after around maybe half an hour ish? The fat, in my experience, sort of molds around the ring so itās not actually squeezing that hard.
"I can get them off with soup", "doesn't hurt after half an hour"... Doesn't sound like something comfortable. IDK how much would it cost to make the ring radius bigger, but I'm pretty sure it's worth the health problems
Obviously if youāre visibly disabled or overweight, itās every strangers legal obligation to make it obvious to you as if you just woke up one day randomly obese or sick. Even if youāre simply just bald, thereās no possibly way you could have known or took steps to deal with it on your own
I know for a fact that some people really NEED to be reminded 24/7 to go see the fuckin doctor.
And some people genuinly consider that there's nothing wrong with that weird growth on their head.
As for doing it to strangers in some way in our heads we still live in small tribes and villages and in those days someone being sick was everyone's issue. Heck in some ways i find it actually pretty wholesome that people care other people, the alternative is much worse imo.
Though the method can use some tweaking, itās much easier for a person to understand āhey, congratulations, I love the celebration. That phrase implies I claimed they didn't exist. I was actually doing the opposite, inquiring about what led you to that conclusion to better my awareness.
I was never talking about this comment section in the first place, I was talking about unwarranted advice and how people go about it. I trust you know that unwarranted advice exists outside of this comment thread right? And I can reference personal experience too? Cause Iām a person who has been spoken too sometimes and not purely a digital construct exclusive to reddit

Why would they put their wedding ring on their foot?
So they can take responsibility and foot the wedding ceremony fees, of course.
Probably also for maintaining warmth, even by a minuscule amount, to prevent getting cold feet.

why would you assume that they aren't going to the doctor?
the only thing you know about this person is that they are getting married. you know literally nothing else about there life beyond this.

I haven't been to the doctor in like 7 years, and I would like to go, American Healthcare is just too expensive man...
I get that. I'm not from the US though, we have socialized healthcare but my mom still refuses to go to the doctor with an obvious health issue.
