We see pagurus in the middle of the map, the Flotsam Vale mailbox towards the bottom right, and the treasure is in the top right, roughly where the east most part of the curdled village is. Is it possible everyone was just looking in the wrong spot for the treasure and they should have gone from the curdled village instead?
That map never made much sense to me. I killed Pagurus and he gave me a piece of the map that revealed that he had a piece of the map...
It fills the map in a guaranteed order regardless of which pieces you got first, you're "supposed" to do pagurus last
of course it doesn't, it's a random cereal box that the sea creatures think is a real map
