Hi everyone, I've been studying using Anki and find myself screenshotting the card, putting it into chat, and saying "explain it to me like im slow" and its been SUPER effective, but its tiresome. i was wondering if anyone knows an add on that has chat just read the card and explain it within the anki app? thanks!

Anki is not a textbook btw...
One thing you simplify very densed out information in a textbook.
But the other, you take already simplified info, since you are likely using a shared deck - and make AI to simplify it more...

Same here! I've been wanting this for a while too. Actually thinking about building a plugin myself to make it happen.
Actually I'm already working on something for this. It's a plugin called AnkiMD (with templates included) and part of the goal is to get proper text rendering so you can exchange markdown or JSON with LLMs directly. Hopefully I can build it out even more!
