I am a new Anki User. I tried downloading Anki onto my MacBook, and I followed all the steps; however, now every time I try to open the app, only the terminal opens up. So I went to the wiki help page and tried several solutions none have worked. Would anyone know exactly how to fix this, or steps I could use? I really want to be able to use Anki on my desktop.
It sounds like you've installed the launcher and you now need to follow the instructions on the screen to install the latest version of Anki.
If you're getting an actual error, search the Anki Forums for other recent posts with similar issues and try those suggestions.
