I have some friends who will be taking the California Zephyr 6 next week heading eastbound and due to arrive into Denver at 6:27pm. They want to catch the Colorado Bustang from Union Station to Colorado Springs and the last Bustang leaves Union Station at 8:05pm.
In TX, you could always count on the trains from California being at least 6-12 hours late, so I’m doubtful about this plan, but I have no idea about how typically late the Zephyr is into Denver. Should my friends forget about catching the last Bustang of the day? Or is it likely that the Zephyr will be so late that they can catch the 1st one the next morning?

Thanks! That’s super helpful!
We really need an auto-reply in this sub for these questions lol
According to historical data from the last month, it looks like this connection would have been missed once, and would have arrived nine minutes before the bus one other time.
Thanks for doing that legwork to check the database! I quickly scanned the database and it looked like about a 70% chance of making the connection so I’m hopeful!
