Yours was probably due to the trespasser incident at Princeton Junction, that's in addition to the incident at Eddington. And on top of all of that, 2253 took out the overhead wire in the Back Bay vicinity. Amtrak has had an absolute meltdown today.
Ugh Amtrak has been the worst lately! I’m supposed to be boarding in Rhode Island but the app isn’t giving accurate updates so tricky to make alt. plans. Safe travels!
If your train gets a delay posted, you should be able to switch to a non-delayed train for free. Or see a ticket agent at the station who can also get you on an earlier delayed train that doesn’t show up in the app if it’s past its original departure time.

My train was delayed 2.5 hours and current limping to Boston. Complete nightmare.
Is it due to the snow? My keystone ran snails pace about 15 or so miles inbetween Trenton and Newark through the worst this morning

That’s awful. I dud read about Princeton and back bay. My biggest fear was the weather at least that didn’t add
No, the train hit someone in PA.
Oh Jesus that’s awful, I’m so sorry to hear that

Yes, we never received a single update while we waited at the station. We’re currently stuck in CT.

Following. I’m supposed to board at NYC but haven’t received any updates in a while.
This train has been a complete nightmare. 3 1/2 hour delay coming in to NYC and then it broke down In Philadelphia.
I see departed 5:47pm now on the app
According to the train tracker map, it was moving at 4 MPH as of 5:37 PM. Not sure if that means anything.
It’s said that for over an hour. I tried calling Amtrak and there was no info
