Gravity is what creatures and even humanity has struggled with since life first arose. The first trees grew unique and specialized water delivery systems to pump water from their roots to the tops of their leaves. It was that same gravity which we struggled against when our early ancestors left their tree homes to venture out onto the savannah. It was gravity that we still struggle against as our buildings grow taller and we push beyond our atmosphere first into the clouds with planes and further still into space.
I really like how all tomorrows went into how different gravity levels would effect the planets inhabitants because sci-fi rarely goes into that and it would have astronomical effects on what the life forms on the planets would look like.
