If my package not updating since December 5th at Alrington Heights, IL, should I be concerned? Should I give it time.

I reached out to speedex via email a few days ago and they said it was just delayed, but that's been a couple days ago since the 12th. I am not sure what Ali express can do though. Technically it is out of their hands.

I am starting to fear my packages have been lost.

  • I contacted speedex, but their default message is that the delay will be resolved quickly.

At least the Ali express app recognizes the delay and has offered coupons for the delayed items. I guess this is all I can hope for at the current time.

  • I have 2 stuck in Arlington heights and they admitted they lost one. Tbh I'm assuming they lost the other one too as I'm also not getting any updates

It will be a bummer, but I am hoping I get my money back if I don't get the items, I will try ordering again at a later date. My first thought was the snowstorm that hit the Midwest delayed shipment, but after that cleared up and snow plows had ample time to clear the roads, I no longer found that a valid reason.

The stuff I ordered is not essential, but it is stuff I plan to use for upcoming art projects or jewelry to sell either in the spring or next fall/winter. None of it is super valuable, it is more less lots of little items. If I don't get them now, I will try again in January and hope they arrive by mid February. In the mean time, my past orders did make it through, so I have enough to keep me occupied. I am just disappointed.

As for the Ali express end, I hold no grudges against them in the situation. I felt the package moved very efficiently throughout China, until it reached the US.
