For context, my package was unfortunately not able to be delivered to my house due to an incorrect address, which is strange because all my previous aliexpress packages (i had one delivered the day before) had been delivered perfectly fine. I contacted my courier to see if I could resolve this issue and change the address, but was told that nothing could be done, and I had to contact the sellers for re-shipping. I decided to request a refund and provided photo screenshots of my tracking stating twice that delivery had been unsuccessful due to an incorrect address.
Aliexpress said that they'd provide an update in 48 hours but it has since been nearly five days, and I'm a bit worried whether I should contact support or wait it out. I heard that I could get a refund if the packages don't arrive on the estimated delivery date, but I really need the money to be refunded as soon as possible so I can buy gifts by the end of the month.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this scenario happen and how quickly a refund was issued/hoping for an answer to quickly resolve this problem :)

They are now in zero refunds mode, so start a chargeback and fight this bullshit.
I guess it's a pretty long to non-existent refund chance. I'm on appeal now and don't hold my breath. Basically waiting for another "Nah" and sending all of the comms to support my chargeback.
depends. from 5 seconds to over a month in my experience.
The one where package was not delivered to correct address is the most tricky, I mean you are literally unable to provide any evidence in such cases. and sadly people do abuse this to get free shit.
Especially now after October - December is when orders increase a lot, therefore the number of these kind of people and natural refunds etc.
If you cant get them to refund, you may need to imitate charge back through your credit card. I do usually get refunds thanks to me being a "loyal customer" or whatever if it gets delivered to incorrect address or it doesn't arrive in time, but that's mainly because of the sheer quantity that I (used to) order through this site. most people will have some problem if this happens.
