I just installed an Android 13 head unit from the Junda Navi Flagship Store on AliExpress in my 2013 RAV4 Limited.

Good news first

  • Reverse camera and OEM steering wheel controls are working with their CANBUS harness.
  • Split screen with Google Maps + Spotify works, overall UI is decent for nav + music.

Bad news: Junda Navi did not send what I paid for.

  • Listing I bought: “2K 8G+128G” model with camera from Junda Navi Flagship Store.
  • Android Settings → Storage on the unit: Internal shared storage: 51.16 GB total.
  • AIDA64 + CPU‑Z on the unit: Installed RAM: 4 GBInternal storage total space: 51.16 GB.

So it’s clearly a 4GB RAM / 64GB storage Helio P22 unit, not 8/128 like advertised.

I’ve messaged Junda Navi telling them they sent the wrong and opened an AliExpress dispute for “wrong item variant”

For anyone here who’s used AliExpress Android head units:

  • Is 4GB/64GB enough long‑term for Android Auto / Google Maps / Spotify + occasional email, apps, or am I asking for pain down the road? I noticed slight lag already with multiple apps on
  • If you were me, would you keep the Junda Navi unit with partial money back for 4gb/64gb, or rip it out, refund and go to a name‑brand AA/CarPlay receiver

  • The question is not so much “what would you do?” but “what would you have done?”

I would have checked the 1-3 star product reviews and most likely I would have read that the seller scams his buyers. So I would never have ended up in this situation.

If the item didn’t have at least 50 reviews I would also have avoided buying for lack of enough reviews.

The only thing you can so now is sticking to your dispute.

I thought i did my diligence by checking the reviews, but yeah you're right, perhaps it was bots and not enough people from usa. I hate the idea of being scammed from across the planet. you're right though, thats why im posting so whoever follows after me will see, cause the store looks legit with pictures and stuff. to be fair this is the first time i am getting something worth more than like $20, my thought was, it's more affordable cause it's built/made in china and they just ship directly, but apparently as the internet/culture grows, i guess so does the scamming.
