Hi guys, I was wondering how much space could i get in my R10 for a graphics card if i get a slim fan. I know its very tight i think like 260mm but if i get a slim fan i heard i get more room does anyone know the exact number i could get if i get that upgrade?
The max graphics card length for the Aurora R10 is 270mm. The lower front intake fan is 25mm. The fan is inside a mounting bracket, so the total thickness of fan + bracket is close to 30mm. If you install a slim 15mm fan you could potentially gain 15mm of graphics card space. Remember, if you have a long graphics card, it will need to be shoehorned in past the metal chassis flange,

Thanks!
Here is someone that put a Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 5070TI which is 329.7mm long after removing the lower front intake fan and bracket. Long graphics card in the Aurora R10
Did he get rid of the fan completely or just put it somewhere else?
It was recommended in that thread that they move the fan to upper front intake and also add 2 fans to the bottom of the case.
If i get a 9070 xt would i need to buy more fans to prevent high temperatures?
I will most likely go for the saphire pulse rx 9070 (non-xt) because don't feel like paying extra for xt and just running into a bunch of issues
That graphics card is 280mm long, so it may fit in your case if you just eliminate the lower front intake fan bracket, and leave the fan sitting in place. With the Aurora series cases, the more fans you add, the better for thermals.
