My Aurora R16 had an error where the cpu fan wasn’t responding correctly, so after researching I purchased an Arctic Liquid Freezer III pro and installed it - hopefully correctly. So far I haven’t seen the fans move, and I received an incorrect CPU install error. I want to be sure that I installed all of the cables correctly. I did the pump cable to the cpu_pump port, the fan cable to the cpu_fam port, and the VRM to the fan_sys port. There was another cable with just 3 prongs coming off the cpu fan, which I attached to the one on the radiator. Should I be using the AIO connection instead? Have I connected anything incorrectly? Please advice. Thanks!
Try connecting the pump power cable to FAN PUMP, the VRM fan to FAN_SYS4 and the radiator fans to FAN_SYS5. I am not sure if the VRM fan is such that it will meet the FAN_SYS4 BIOS requirements. You will need to have fans connected to both FAN_SYS4 and FAN_SYS5.
