Someone passive aggressively donated their bin to a neighbor?
What is going on here?
“I am not here to clean up your mess” is giving mixed signals. Is it not their own mess?
People really are straight stupid about basic shit like recycling though. We have to go to a center (no pickup option for us) and NO PLASTIC BAGS is pasted on every available surface, yet I bet you can guess what surprising item is found in every bin...
I chatted with someone I know who works for solid waste, and he said they tried green waste bins but people simply couldn't sort their items correctly. People used the green waste bin for more trash.
My neighbor drives me nuts with their recycling bagged and tied in white kitchen trash bags. Since recycling is hand sorted, for safety reasons they won't even open these bags. I've told this to my neighbor on several occasions.
Slap that note on your neighbor's door with another saying something like:
"Kindly piss off. While I appreciate the information, and I will own being the idiot that didn't know. I take comfort that I am not the neighborhood Karen. Have a wonderful Christmas. No matter how lonely you feel."
The original note could have been more polite and neighborly. ”Hey, found your can in front of my yard, it made a mess. By the way, green waste should never be put into the recyclables. Look it up to learn more. Have a Merry Christmas."

Is there yard waste pickup available? They don't have it at my apartment obviously, but I've lived in neighborhoods before that did
green waste It passed. It was December 1st -12th
And not in the blue bin. You can also order a pickup for 50 bucks. Or the black bin is OK for yard waste.
Damn, I didn't know they did that. Oh well, next year then. 😂
They also do pickup in the Spring. They also will accept yard waste at the collection centers.
Thank you, appreciate this. That is amazingly helpful
Yup you can put as many bags as it takes to clean up your yard.

Did not know this. Do we just put all recyclables together in the blue bin and not separate them? I
Yes. The exception is shredding which can be in a clear plastic bag.
