u/Arwenmh370x has uploaded an altered version of Shockwave to YouTube, claiming it is the “Original Pyromania Shockwave 1080p EXPL001 HD (2005).” She also posted a Twitter thread attempting to document that this video provides evidence that the Shockwave elements used in the MH370 videos were added after they were released. Ironically, the Shockwave video she uploaded clearly reveals that the first five frames have been modified, which is exactly what she falsely accuses “debunkers" of doing.
UPDATE: the YouTube post and Twitter thread have been deleted.
Let’s look at the evidence.
The first five frames are noticeably blurrier
This is one of the easiest things to spot, even without technical tools.
- Edges are smeared, and detail is muted
The background grain abruptly changes
If you look at the dark areas of the frame (away from the bright center), the background texture should remain consistent.
Instead:
- The first five frames show unstable grain and colored speckling
This is evident in this video of the first 10 frames with the levels adjusted.

Frame 3 shows clear signs of localized editing
When global levels are raised (a standard adjustment in tools like Photoshop), frame 3 reveals something very specific:
- A smooth oval-shaped region around the bright center
- Inside that oval, the texture looks different -- smoother, more “painted”
- The boundary is soft but clearly defined
This oval does not match the geometry of the shockwave and does not behave like a lighting effect or compression artifact.
It looks exactly like an area that was selected and modified separately from the rest of the frame.
Importantly, this oval does not appear in later frames processed the same way.
Frame 3, with the levels adjusted, clearly shows evidence of editing.
Who created this video?
So, who created this edited video? I don’t know. Arwen has not responded to several requests to provide the source, which is suspicious in itself. But I’ll ask you again, u/Arwenmh370x : what is the source of the video you uploaded to YouTube?
Based on the shoddy editing and sloppy brushstrokes, I suspect WSAdvisor_ (aka GoGalaxyz, aka GuidoB, aka NoFakery, aka Raytracer, aka MediaTruth, aka LeastOpportunity5121, aka GoLimeVFX, aka No-Truck-1913) was involved. He’s attempted planting edited versions of Shockwave before.
This is merely another failed effort to confuse the situation regarding the Shockwave asset. However, they have repeatedly been unable to supply any proof that the Shockwave elements featured in the MH370 VFX videos are not from the Shockwave videos dating back to the 1990s.
UPDATE #2: Dec 27, 2025
Twitter user WSAdvisor_ (aka u/GoGalaxyz) has admitted he “forwarded” the fake Shockwave file to Arwenhm370x. If he truly received this video from some other source, he needs to identify that source.
As I mentioned earlier, due to poor editing and sloppy brushstrokes, I suspect WSAdvisor_ is the person who forged the file. He could dispel this suspicion by clarifying the source or identity of the person who sent it to him. I believe he should also explain why an expert in graphics like himself did not notice the clear forgery.
If you want to edit something to fake evidence, you probably shouldn't choose something that has been microanalized for literally years.. and then use free software to manipulate it.
You allude to this being /NoFakery. This does remind me of the NoFakery files. That whole event was a sad referendum of a single person's unstable mental state.

Seems to me like Arwen got scammed by WSA, and didn't do their due diligence checking things first. Shame that she didn't follow her own advice, and deleted the post!
You'd hope that makes a person go "shit, how did I get duped so easily" or "why didn't I check anything before posting" or "I should probably apologize for my dumb behavior and accusations" or "what does this say about my general intelligence and reasoning skills" and "have I been taken advantage of like this in other places" and "I should get some help probably"

Either Arwen is deliberately tampering with the file and trying to pass it off as legit, or someone else (WSA) is feeding it to her and is using her as a scapegoat. Either way it’s pretty bad.
The third option is that Arwen is deliberately tampering and then has an involvementary disconnect so that she assumes the new product is original.
Mentally unstable people will compartmentalize decisions. They will often disassotiate their own issues and assume their weirdly contrived conclusion are valid.
Should also be noted that the person who seems to be the source behind the current fake shockwave video is also the person who convinced Ashton that the raw images were fake after they surfaced in December 2023.
This whole grift would have been dead and buried if it weren't for the dishonest slander campaign spearheaded by WSAdvisor_ on X, reddit and in Ashton's discord.
