This group celebrates the artistry, beauty, and care of afro-textured locs. From texture and shape to length and style. To maintain a high standard and showcase our community in the best light, I’ll be doing a sweep of the group to ensure posts align with our vision.
Here’s what we’re aiming for:
Thoughtful, intentional photos that highlight the beauty of your locs.
Good lighting and clarity (artistic blur is fine).
Purposeful content, not casual “look at me” snapshots, unrelated excessive showing of skin or nudity.
To help organize posts and celebrate variety, we’re introducing new flairs/tags:
Texture Shot
Retwist Pattern
Short / Medium / Long Length
Style Shot
This is about curating a space where locs are showcased as the art they are. Let’s elevate the way we share, celebrate, and inspire each other.
Thank you for helping keep this community beautiful and intentional!
And again group is for AFRO textured hair.
And how would you say this is going so far?
sigh thank you for asking. Not well, I admit I got distracted once again (new job)? Tell me how you'd go about it because there's a balance needed, and I don't think people understand beauty versus vanity.
Honestly I think you even putting the intention out there is a good start, as well as the tags.
It’s helpful to have safe and intentional spaces, which seems to be what you are going for.
The right tribe will align. And those that won’t simply won’t.
Either way, thank you for your efforts.
