I’m glad no mention of memorial service is mentioned. I hope the family and his actual friends get to say good bye in private without a livestream watching.
I hope for once that any vlogger attending not record. I can imagine some pulling out their cameras immediately after the service in the parking lot and beginning to record. Vloggers see this as a spike to their channels and since they are vile snakes to get any views.
More power to any vlogger friends who might be pallbearers. Their arms can only support the weight of their own camera. They are probably looking to Jim to carry the load of the weight. In this case cremation might make sense.
I absolutely cannot believe that this dude just went and died. His health and his appearance doesn’t make it any less surreal for me. I dunno. Just a weird one. I know I can’t be alone in that. Not shocking, per se…just….weird.
As someone who is getting up in age (45), I can totally believe it. I have friends from highschool, and people ive met in my adult life have passed. Some health issues and unassuming issues that they didn't know about, or issues that they neglected to take care of. Hell, one of my employees was having lunch on a Sunday, took a nap, fell asleep and never woke up. 49 years old. Just passed away, with no real reason known. It's the sad truth of getting older.
Well, sure. I’m not implying that I’m shocked a 51 year old man with a gut the size of an air conditioner died. It’s just it’s, like….it’s this guy. A fixture who mainly focused on timeless things and who sort of lived life as if he were ethereal in his own weird approach - and then one day you check his snark Reddit and people are just like, “oh yea he’s dead now”. Wild stuff.
Oh no. I get it, but, again, it's a fact of life, it ends, regardless of the persons fame. I get the shock 100%, totally. And I'm sorry for you, honestly. Also a shock when I heard it. I think he might have had an idea. Some of the long talk walking videos, he talked about the future.
As much as you are right, it's also really easy to let yourself get away from yourself. I'm not justifying his lifestyle, but I can see how he got to the state he was.
He had so much money and so much time and lots of people telling him to look after himself, see a doctor etc. his own Dad has diabetes.
But no, he would delete those comments because they weren't "positive" and he'll do whatever he wants. Now his parents and sister's Christmas has been forever tainted and they're without a son and a brother. He was a reckless moron.
I totally get it. Again, not justifying, just being honest with my outlook. I tend to agree with you when you post here, but this time, this is the human condition we are dealing with. Over indulging and instant gratification has taken taken over self worth and commitment to ones self. It's not just an issue with Woo. It's a world wide issue that we have slowly come to accept and rationalize. I agree. He should have gone to the doc. He should have lost weight.
And I agree with you, I honestly do wish these vloggers use this as a wake up call, because as much as I wasn't the biggest fan of him, this obviously wasn't the ending I expected of him and it really is a shame.
Oh yeah. There are some that REALLY need to take this as a wakeup call. And Woo wasn't always good driven. There are vloggers we watch specifically for the food reviews and man, watching weight gain in real time is crazy.
It's the truth of age. I'm fairly healthy, work out daily, run, all that. My family has a history of heart attacks and diabetes. I turned my life around when I was 39 and havent looked back. That said, having a little girl and a wife of 20 years, I live life to the fullest. Happy and sober is the best life I could ask for.
10 years ago I almost lost my husband to a heart attack at 46. Healthy as a horse, exercised, ate right, went to the doctor annually. One morning he woke up not feeling great. Called off work and was going to go lay back down when all of a sudden he couldn't lift his left arm. I had to almost drag him to the ER. Cardiologist said if he laid back down guarantee he wouldn't have woken up. Scary stuff. I wonder if something like that was Adam. Not feeling well, went to sleep and never woke up
I get you. Watching my sister grieve his death is something so unique bc it’s less about Adam himself and more about the absence of his content. She said it’s triggering to open YouTube, see his little icon in her subs, but then not have something new to watch. Our dad died very suddenly as well 3 years ago and I think the empty chair phenomenon has become a virtual empty chair for her. It’s sad to see. And she wasn’t even the biggest fan anymore after the way he treated her boyfriend when they met him a year or so ago
Where did you read 3 windows were open? I read one was which they found odd given Adam's paranoia. I think it's possible he didn't die overnight but got up early that morning, opened a window, and went back to bed thinking he'd take a nap before GIV showed up.
I also wanna know if Jim could have opened the window further to get in. I know he wouldn't because the cops had already threatened arrest if he or GIV broke in, but I do wanna know if he tried yelling through it or at least pounding on it to try and wake Adam. I also wonder how close Adam's bed was to the window.
"More than anything Adam loved his family and is survived by his parents, June and Jim Williams of St. Cloud, FL; sister, Faith Anne (husband - Ryan) Murray of Logansport, IN; nephew, Floyd Murray of Logansport, IN."
I guess his sister and her family aren't in Boise anymore.
Its crazy I know he wasn't in the best of health but he just spent a few weeks moving around Europe. If it had to happen im glad he died at home and not in Europe
This has probably been said already in this subreddit but the timing of Adam's sudden death is really uncanny to me. He was travelling so much in 2025 that it was a frequent subject of this subreddit. The fact that he died in his own home during the one week before he was to embark on a huge road trip (which I believe, despite what some others say, was really going to happen) was just crazy timing.
Also uncanny is that he died right before the new year. Adam was really into starting "new journeys" as he put it and embarking on new paths at the beginning of the year. He bought Large Marge right before the New Year, I think moved to Celebration (in an apartment) around this time of year and I think bought his house right before the New Year also. His 2026 American road trip was to begin right at the new year. It is so uncanny to me that he died right in the middle of the transition from 2025 adventures to the 2026 adventures of "getting back to his roots".
I'm actually disappointed in the quality of the obit. Outside of YT and mentioned of his band days, there's nothing else about the quality or characteristics of Adam. It would have been great to see other items and interests listed, not even a mention of Disney or film interest.
Nobody has said anything about this "In lieu of flowers, please donate the funds to Samaritan's Purse, a charity Adam admired. "
Talk about a horrible charity. Part of me wonders if his dad didn't put that in there. 'Cause I tell you what that charity is not punk at all. They pretty much put themselves in place of FEMA to receive FEMA money. They also deny LGBQ disaster aide. They're right up there with Salvation Army. They don't give any aid until you're converted. Now I never got a feeling that Adam was very churchy (maybe a nod here or there because of his father) giving his punk background but seeing that did raise an eyebrow. I mean dude.. evangelical psychopath Billy Graham's son =p
Just thinking back, Adam was always suffering “jet lag” after each international trip. That one trip do you remember he got “a stomach bug”? It was clear the traveling was taking its toll, sadly.
I’m glad no mention of memorial service is mentioned. I hope the family and his actual friends get to say good bye in private without a livestream watching.
It says a public memorial service will be planned at a later date.
It appears that a private something is happening in the very near future without the public since Justin is in Florida
I’m pretty sure Justin made a comment last night that is why he is heading there.
I literally said that
I hope for once that any vlogger attending not record. I can imagine some pulling out their cameras immediately after the service in the parking lot and beginning to record. Vloggers see this as a spike to their channels and since they are vile snakes to get any views.
Guarantee you Carpetbagger will find a way to do it
He's such a scumbag I wouldn't be surprised.
He will have like the ray bans in them that have the camera in them.
You’d think with a family as religious as his were said to be, there’d be some sort of sanctity about the funeral and burial (unless cremated).
More power to any vlogger friends who might be pallbearers. Their arms can only support the weight of their own camera. They are probably looking to Jim to carry the load of the weight. In this case cremation might make sense.
Lol that's good but so true
His father stated to a friend they will be streaming the service.
Alot of funeral homes offer this service nowadays
No! I want to see the service. It will be like the end of Avengers but with grifters.
So Adam is coming back as a big bad in a few years... The Grifters: Woosday
As snarky as I have been here, I thought it was a nice obituary.
I absolutely cannot believe that this dude just went and died. His health and his appearance doesn’t make it any less surreal for me. I dunno. Just a weird one. I know I can’t be alone in that. Not shocking, per se…just….weird.
Exactly, and I didn’t ask for this to happen. It’s really weird still.
This one has really affected me. I can’t shake it. I am close to 50 and I haven’t had anyone in my circle just die “naturally” yet so it’s petrifying.
As someone who is getting up in age (45), I can totally believe it. I have friends from highschool, and people ive met in my adult life have passed. Some health issues and unassuming issues that they didn't know about, or issues that they neglected to take care of. Well if he looked after himself he would have lived longer
As much as you are right, it's also really easy to let yourself get away from yourself. I'm not justifying his lifestyle, but I can see how he got to the state he was.

Especially some of the vloggers like Paging Mr Morrow who definitely is a ticking time bomb if he doesn't change his ways
Oh yeah. There are some that REALLY need to take this as a wakeup call. And Woo wasn't always good driven. There are vloggers we watch specifically for the food reviews and man, watching weight gain in real time is crazy.
You don't even know the cause of death. So shut up and maybe wait for concrete evidence.
I predict.... Something to do with his heart.
💀
That emoji is too soon.
/s for the folks downvoting me.
That’s freakin heartbreaking. I’m sorry 😢

Hopefully we can find out the cause of death instead of the guessing game.

LOL you swear he was assassinated or something
Jessica Fletcher over here. Take it easy, it’s not an episode of Murder She Wrote.
😭😭😭😭

Watch Giv's video again and listen very closely "there were 3 windows open"
I watched him for years and years and then I lost interest, but kept up with this community and in the blink of an eye, he's gone. Absolutely crazy.
Same here, I was an early viewer, but left with the over abundance of Disney content
It’s still so shocking… been watching since 2016
This whole things is still so shocking. I can't believe he's gone.
It’s just still so shocking and heartbreaking. My god his poor parents.
"More than anything Adam loved his family and is survived by his parents, June and Jim Williams of St. Cloud, FL; sister, Faith Anne (husband - Ryan) Murray of Logansport, IN; nephew, Floyd Murray of Logansport, IN."

This floors me.
Just awful.
Damn, Adam... 😞
RIP, Woo

I’m not taking his death well even let a few tears fall just now. This really hurts. 💔💔💔

Makes me sick. And just after my mother.
Sorry for her passing. Blessings to you
So sorry for your loss.
You know what's missing from this? The word "friends"
I've been binging some Passing through vids from this fall. Still can't believe he's gone.
RIP Adam the Woo, thank you for the adventures. He looked much healthier and lively in that photo.

Adam's grammar was very bad and plus he was lazy. If he didn't go see a doctor for a health check up, I highly doubt he made any funeral arrangements.
the Woo is gone but oh what a reign, from a working man to royalty to everlasting YouTube fame, the Woo is gone, long live his name
