This guy was a complete asshole, losing 50 lbs in 100 days in a healthy way is impossible. He was rightfully called out for it for not only doing serious damage to his own health but promoting it to his audience like he was some kind of health expert. It does make me sad that he was never willing to listen to any real advice and was so stuck in his stubborn ways. Who really was better for Adam to listen to? Us or the people around him and his woovians that just kissed his ass everyday. People that can only ever accept positive comments and never any criticism are not made for the real world
Unfortunately for David he's no longer part of the real world.
We don't know why he died, and I have no idea how often he might have been seeing a doctor for anything, but I continue to believe his death was avoidable. I'm surprised, however, that he never had an incident that sent him to the hospital. Perhaps a minor heart incident at a Disney park that required transport by ambulance would have been the wake-up call he needed.
I’m amazed at the negativity and hate by some of the other commenters here. But I do think it’s worthwhile to discuss his lifestyle and eating habits. It may wake up some of his fans and cause a lot of good.
I saw the German in Venice guy go to the Starbucks Adam frequented and said his daily order was a venti vanilla latte iirc. I never watched his theme park stuff but I assume he was constantly tempted by all the sugar and junk that is everywhere. Seemed like he walked quite a bit but prob very limited if any cardiovascular.
Adam never seemed like the most knowledgeable guy but he seemed like a really good guy. Who really knows but I had a lot of respect for the person he projected out to the world.
I'll never forget how he bragged about how determined he could be to accomplish a goal he set.
And yet every time he dropped weight by starving himself for weeks, he would claim he was going to maintain his artificially lower weight, only to go "off the rails" within a week.
Funny how he was so determined to accomplish goals, he said, and when he signed up to run a half marathon, he abandoned all training for that. Videos tracking his training and progress toward eventually running a 5K would have made for much better content than the crap he turned out over the last 5 years. But Mr. Persistence just wasn't interested.
It's bizarre listening to all the other vlogger testimonies about how great David was. How determined and hard he worked, how he researched things for hours before making a video about filming locations. Funny how nobody seems to recall that he was human and gave into temptation and laziness just as often, if not more.
One of the most revealing things he said recently is that he "can create a habit in one day." His lack of discipline but confidence in his own willpower allowed him to put off everything until later.
I still can't believe he ate that entire burger. I would be sick as a dog if i ate that much grease and fat in one sitting. No wonder he put on so much weight this past year.
I know. All of this traveling lead to eating so so bad. He also had money so cost wasn’t an issue. Those parks charge a lot .. when I go I budget and don’t eat all there and bring healthier options with me
Starvation diet- not good. :-(
Triple Bypass Burgers, yo-yo diet, skip doctors. What can go wrong?
But... The chickpeas!
Losing 50 pounds in 100 days is more dangerous than that burger.
100%.
Losing a pound or two a week is the correct way to go
and without exercise! He brags about it like it's great
Like much of his channel, I think this claim was all BS anyway.
He would drop a lot of weight when he was on his yo-yo diets. But any loss was temporary as he always revert back to the other extreme.
I think this one was after he gained a ton eating a month of take-outs at So Cal restaurants during the pandemic
Sadly David along with many assume diets are a temporary thing. Yo Yo'ing is really hard on the body and he did a fair bit of that in his life.

I lost 180 lbs over 3 years. The max pounds I ever lost in a month was 12. My doctor said a good safe weight loss pace is 2-3 pounds a week
People here were worried about his health if you go back to these videos. Good chance he would be alive today if he just took it all more seriously.
He said he ate an entire bag of chips or cheetos every night before bed
*throws all Cheetos out

I think getting closer to the source of what killed him.
Heart Attack grill thumbnail totally showed up in my suggestions too this morning. Sigh.

He could certainly drop a habit in less than a day. He proved that.

Adam is dead. I think it’s time for you to move on with your life.

The real juxtaposition.
Oh wow
Again. You Tube allows all this unhealthy posting.
As if the Youtube AI algorithm knew!
His eating habits were HORRIBLE.
Wonder how he died. (no I don’t).
I’m gonna guess it was heart related but yeah… I don’t really wonder . He’s gone that’s all I need to know
