The original pier building was stunning and very Grand Budapest, but that burnt down in 1930. The pier building I remember was built in 1933, a very Art Deco white pavilion which was also very Wes Anderson and that burnt down in 2008 to be replaced by the current building which is boring. But the original entrance pictured is still there. Many a day as a kid spent in WSM. Great memories.
