I don’t understand why they think we would want to identify with our birth sex? Like obviously people who say this think “trans girl” is a girl who now thinks they’re a man, but like- if they “think” they’re a man why would they want to self identify as a girl? It’s honestly just more mental gymnastics than it needs to be.
They don't even think for five seconds about how other people (specifically trans/trans allies) think differently and don't have that opinion of "trans people are their birth sex" and therefore assume the girl/woman/man/boy after the fact is refering to people's AGAB.
Either they aren't that smart at all or don't want to bother with basic processing like that.
The second person is actually more supportive than the first person - since they said “trans girls” instead of “transgirls” and transphobes remove the space to make them not seen as girls
